 LA CASA DE PUTRE IS THE NAME OF OUR BASE IN ARICA. LA CASA DE PUTRES IT IS CALLED AS A SYMBOLICAL TRIBUTE TO THE CAPITAL OF CHILEAN AYMARA LAND.Putre, a small village at 3.500 meters altitude about 140 km inland from Arica is the capital of the province Parinacota. It used to be part of the silver route between Potosi and Arica. It is also the linea recta gate way to the heart of La Pachamama, that’s how the door to the Altiplano road opens. |

That’s the tour that shows you 20 kilometers of nature, beaches and spectacular views at the Pacific and The Andes. A hike of about 3 hours where you can see the sea lions and walk a sand dune can be part of the day, same as a bbq at the coast ore at a Chilean friend’s place in Gallinaso.
